Tackling your finances, together—like family.

Judgment-free financial clarity, from a millennial who's been there.

Hi, I'm Sophia—your millennial cousin.

Hi, I’m Sophia — your millennial cousin. I've closed my banking app instead of opening it more times than I can count, so I know exactly what it feels like to figure out money quietly and anxiously, making it up as you go. My master's isn't in finance — it's in how people learn. I studied Education Policy & Management at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which is a very long way of saying I'm a little obsessed with why people learn and how to make education actually accessible to everyone. I've spent 10+ years working with young people — not as a financial advisor, but as an educator who takes something intimidating and makes it finally make sense. I built YMC for the version of me that needed it, and for you.

No matter where you're starting with money, you don't have to figure it out alone. I've got you, cousin.

Questions?

Do I need to be 'good with money' or know a lot already to start?

1

Not at all—this is for people who feel behind, overwhelmed, or like no one ever taught them this stuff (because most of us weren't). You don't need a budget, a big income, or any background; you just need to be ready to start where you are.

Is this financial advice? Will you tell me what to invest in?

2

No—YMC is financial education and confidence coaching, not investment, tax, or legal advice. Instead of telling you what to do with your money, I help you understand your options and build the confidence to make decisions that fit your life.

What makes you different?

3

Most financial education leads with information. YMC leads with you — where you actually are, what's actually going on, and what would actually help. I'm not a financial advisor selling a plan; I'm an educator who spent over a decade figuring out how people learn, and then turned that toward the one subject most of us were never taught. There's no jargon, no shame, and no one-size-fits-all advice. Just a real conversation — and a next step that fits your life.

How can I contact you?

4

The easiest way is to email me at yourmillennialcousin@gmail.com—tell me a little about what you're navigating and what you're hoping for, and I'll take it from there. Whether you're an individual ready to start or an organization exploring a workshop, there's no pressure and no "right" question; reaching out is the first step.
